About Me

I have an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from The Minster Centre and Middlesex University, as well as an Advanced Diploma and Diploma in Integrative Counselling.

Alongside six years of training, my own experience of long-term therapy has been central to my development as a therapist. Having sat in the client’s chair, I understand first-hand what this process can feel like. I believe it is important to have engaged in this depth of personal work before inviting others to do the same.

Professionally, I have experience working as a therapist in low-cost community counselling services, supporting clients from a wide range of backgrounds and with diverse experiences. Alongside my training in relational, psychodynamic and somatic psychotherapy, I am also trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS level 1), an approach that offers a compassionate way of understanding the different parts of ourselves and the roles they come to hold. I continue to engage in ongoing professional development and have regular one-to-one and peer supervision to ensure my work remains ethical, reflective and supported.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked for over a decade in the independent film industry. I continue to hold a deep interest in arts and culture, and have a particular awareness of the challenges that can arise for those working in creative fields.
